Replaced 'goinstall' with 'go get' It seems like 'goinstall' is now 'go get', but getting that piece of information from web search is not too easy. Hope this would save other n00bs' time.
This is a memcache client library for the Go programming language (http://golang.org/).
$ go get github.com/bradfitz/gomemcache/memcache
After this command gomemcache is ready to use. Its source will be in:
$GOROOT/src/pkg/github.com/bradfitz/gomemcache/memcache
You can use go get -u -a for update all installed packages.
$ git clone git://github.com/bradfitz/gomemcache $ cd gomemcache/memcache $ make install
import (
"github.com/bradfitz/gomemcache/memcache"
)
func main() {
mc := memcache.New("10.0.0.1:11211", "10.0.0.2:11211", "10.0.0.3:11212")
mc.Set(&memcache.Item{Key: "foo", Value: []byte("my value")})
it, err := mc.Get("foo")
...
}
