  "message": "[devtools] Only strip //# sourceURL\u003d lines at the end of the source.\n\nPreviously the DevTools UI would strip out //# sourceURL\u003d... and\n//@ sourceURL\u003d... lines from the script in the frontend no matter\nwhere they showed up in the source code, which means that all the\npositions after this line will be off by 1 between frontend\nand backend. It\u0027s generally also very confusing to developers that\nwe\u0027re removing code from the script before showing it.\n\nIn general, we should just display exactly the code that the developer\nwrote (similar to Firefox DevTools and Safari WebInspector), however\nthere\u0027s quite a bit of internal logic relying on the special handling\nof sourceURL comments (at the end), for example when it comes to\nsnippets.
